Generally for tips smaller than -02 a 100-mesh is the recommended strainer mesh IF you are using a strainer.
For -02 and larger, it bumps up to 50-mesh.
Technically if 100-mesh is giving grief with some chem (clay-based stuff, etc.), often folks will swap to an 80 mesh strainer for those sizes like the -015.
