250 tons and people are losing their minds over it. Someone should dump 250 tons of apples there too and see what kind of news coverage that gets.

I’m sure that’s only a small portion of what Spokane Colony has had to dump, and they’re not as big of producers as the other three colonies in the state. There’s probably 100,000 tons of spuds growers have been told to get rid of. Nearby dairies have been feeding apples and potatoes as fast as they can dump them in the TMR for months now. It’s a mess.

People complain about food cost, but the reality is food is cheap, it’s all the other costs that get tacked onto people’s grocery bill that are out of control.
So what’s the scoop here Ben? Potatoes actually so cheap the best option is give them away? And what’s the apples connotation? They super cheap also?
