Buy a cyclops charger and extended warranty if you want extra insurance https://taylorfence.net/index.php Lighting arrestees might help but I've never put a lot of faith in them. The cyclops chargers have built in surge protection that's replaceable in the worst case scenario.
Do you run the Boss fence charger? Just wondering how you like it? I just purchased the Boss and in the process of getting it set up.


No I have a brute and a super, they work way better than the 100mile zabra they replaced, can really hear the click. As far as storm damage have had a fuse blown up to the point it had to be picked out, charger was fine though. The brute did need a repair in its first year, not sure why but did discover the plug it was plugged into was reverse polarity.

You can hear the super wind up before the pulse, can't imagine what the boss would be like.
