Curious what you think is good singulation and spacing on a percentage basis. I added a 20/20 to my planter and I'm curious how I'm doing.

Spacing - 96-99%
Singulation - 95-97%


You can do better, and you can do much worse.

Plates make a huge difference, if you get into flat seeds, get the new flat seed plate, part number 700745799. They do very well for most flats.


I think you said your seed was 1350 seeds/lb, which should be pretty big, and should probably work with the Large or Medium discs depending on if they are flats or rounds.

As someone else said, plates, air pressure, and shimming the discs are about your only adjustments...we can still make the pressure meter plant very well, but it's not as easy as it used to be when seed was graded better.
