Faunsdale, AL | I agree, put a test light on the power to the compressor clutch and watch it as you watch the gauges. If it’s cutting the compressor in and out, then you need to figure out what’s causing it.
Those pressures seem fine to me, but depending on your outside air temps, there may be a sensor in the evaporator that’s cutting compressor out to avoid frosting evaporator. Evaporator fins/core might just need cleaning to prevent that from happening. Have you checked filter?
I’m no help on the specifics of the control system on that tractor. I’m used to the old ones with a knob you twist to adjust the thermostat switch that has a sensing bulb in the evaporator fins up and down. Some use heater to modulate and prevent frosting I think. Lots of ways to do it once you have computer control! | |
