Ravenna Ohio | Ran one for years with a Phillips rotary hanging on the back. Felt it was great bang for the buck. Bought it new.. A little extra smooth out from harvest. Planter had easier time. Of course a bit extra drying when you felt like you needed to push things. Weight was good at breaking brick hard soil too. Sometimes it looked like it didn't do much. Until the planter rolled. You could see it then. Never replaced the blades. Never a bearing. No idea how many acres. Felt like worn blades were even more aggressive. New owner got sideswiped by a car. Some minor damage. Car looked like crap. A Turbo Max is it's replacement. But I was looking for some more dual use. It's easy to see I'm spending more to eliminate the disc I used when following a plow. If my SC had been bigger. I would likely still be running it. | |
