Madison Co. Virginia | I added steel BB's to a set of trailer tires. They seem to ride fine. I also mounted up a set of cheap Ebay tires on a daily driver van, and didn't balance them at all. They also ride fine. A local junkyard operator who sells used vehicles, says only about one in thirty tires that he mounts has enough of a vibration issue to warrant getting it balanced.
I'm not convinced that balancing is as necessary as claimed, with modern tires. | |
