Haul them right out of the chute. As has been mentioned, very light loads and very gentle handling. If your goal is to get as many pregnant right up front bulls can go in around 48 hours. If you want to have a general idea of AI conception hold bull for about 10 days. Even then you will not know for sure. To some parentage is critical to others not so important. Do what works best for you.
Why wait 48 hrs? If ai is gonna catch—-that seamen is past the cervix. It’ll get there first—if it don’t and you wait 48—looks to me like it could cost you a cycle. |
