Central Oklahoma | I agree with T-boss about airing up each cylinder thru the injector hole to find the offending one. At least then you will know which sleeve to look at carefully. Years ago I had a cylinder liner in a 2030 tractor that cracked vertically thru the liner flange that set in the block counterbore. It only cracked part-way around, so the liner did not move down in the block, but the top of the crack was in the combustion chamber (not covered by the head gasket) so compression made it's way down into the water jacket no mater the position of the piston, just the same as a head gasket leak would do. |
