northeastern Ohio | JD 4475 skid steer. I used it this morning and it worked fine. Tried an hour later and it cranks but doesn't fire. In fact, it keeps on cranking for about 5 seconds after I let go of the key. Then I get code F4 on the overhead dash.
Acts like it is not getting fuel. Fuel pump runs when the key is on. Tank is over half full.
I'm thinking that it is the fuel shutoff solenoid, but the weird part is the continued cranking after releasing the key. It never did that before.
The overhead dash is also acting a little flakey. It comes on when you sit in the seat, but sometimes it flutters off/on. Pulled it out and did not see any mouse damage. This board was replaced a few years ago and doesn't have very many hours on it compared to the rest of the machine.
Anyone familiar? The Deere 4475 is identical to the NH 465, but has a different engine.
