| Hi Lucas, I'm the guy from the Highmore store that has worked on you/your Dad's red tractors through the years.
A couple questions here....
1). First off, with the key on/engine not running, can you shift the gears up/down? You should be able to shift up/down from first up to eighth gear like this.
2). Did you use this tractor on a grain cart last fall....with more than one operator running it? The transmission computer can get to a point that it needs its clutch pedal pot. memory cleaned out. To do this is simple....with the key off, unplug the clutch pedal pot down by the clutch pedal. Now start up the tractor....let it run a few minutes with the clutch pedal pot. disconnected...this, in essence, clears out the stored clutch pedal pot. memory. Now shut the tractor off and let all the controllers power down. Now hook the clutch pedal pot. back up, start the tractor in normal fashion, and see if it shifts up/down like it should.
