I've always worked backwards from in furrow or 2x2 to figure out my dry spreads. Have done a lot of 6-24-6 @ 6 gal over the years.
6*11.2#=67.2# applied. So you are 4-16-4 actual. In furrow is just to set things up, still you are best dry spread the rest.
Liquid P& K gets out of hand expensive quick.
