Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Essentially all section or row clutch systems use power to Disengage. I believe there is a Great Plains model that uses power to engage as the only exception I'm aware of.
The OP does not mention what he is using as far as clutches or a population monitoring system. There is a wide range of possible combinations.
Clutches could be the half-width disconnects or many others. I'm guessing from the screen that you are using the PMM (Population Monitoring Module) with the Kinze MuxBus sensors. I am not familiar with them as I use the STTM (Seed Tube Monitoring Module) with my Deere planter.
If the OEM half-width disconnect clutches are being used, are relays involved? Generally they should be with a separate power and ground source direct to the battery. Then the Ag Leader Clutch Control Module only needs to complete the circuit to the relay coil and the actual electrical load of cycling the clutches and the potential "back EMF" is handled by the large separate wires.
