Been there, done that, but I just used the screwdriver on my Leatherman to loosen the drain screw at the bottom of the carb, let it drain a few seconds, tightened the screw and it fired right up. No walking necessary.
Not really any different than dealing with an old gas tractor with a full sediment bowl.
