30/55 gallon barrels are dangerous. One bother got hand smashed when setting barrel on side, other brother fell off pickup onto road when he was standing barrel back up since it fell over when turning. My chemical dealer charges $2/gallon more in jugs than in tote. If I was only going to use 55 gallon of one chemical, I would just get it jugs anyway. My chemical dealer will fill partial totes of most chemicals he handles in bulk (semi load). If you know what you need in the winter you should be able to find someone that will fill a partial tote with the gallons that you need. He does not repackage parquat. So it is only 2.5, 125, or 250 gallon. You might want to find some one that has the 125s since that will not take up as much room in storage. (they can be stacked.) |
