I have several of the ~$80-100 12gauge triple end ones of various brands plastic case. So far 2 of the three are fine, brake is acting up on the one always wants to roll up. But can't really see spending $500 for a reel that's not used everyday, make sure you get one with 12awg wire not the cheap 16awg ones.
