s.e. Pa | We had a shed built last year with two cupolas. One of them leaks, and the builder isn’t too interested in coming back. I got up there and the problem is that they used the foam from the ridge cap to seal around the cupola, and in the right wind rain can kind of get through and drip inside. I feel like they should have maybe cut the hole in the roof smaller, or bent a lip around the inside, but that’s water under the bridge. Is there some kind of good adhesive rubber gasket 1/2” thick or so that I can use under the cupola? It needs to be that thick because the cupola sits on top of the ridges in the metal, and I need to close the gap on the sides. | |
