Windom, MN | Disk it again to break up the clumps some more. About 10 years ago broke CRP ground up with 2 passes disk, 1 pass FC, then plant. It was still rough, so I had to go slow.
It was beans, so I hired my neighbor to roll it with their land roller after I was done planting. The roller was the best decision. It leveled it out nicely, I had a good stand, and it yielded competitively in the fall. If you can get your hands on a land roller I think that would help a lot.
Believe a rotary hoe would just plug up and make a mess...clumps would get stuck on the hoe spoons. | |
