Last week I posted about my 2008 Silverado costing me $36940 in repairs and maintenance since I bought it new.

This week I asked my mechanic about our 2008 GMC Sierra that is 2 wd and that figure was $6700. Add $2500 for 2 sets of tires and that comes to $9200 over the past 15 years or $613/year or 94 cents a mile at the 97800 mile mark.

Fwiw: If my mechanics computer program will do it, I'm going to get a rundown of costs before and after 100,000 miles on my 2008 4x4 Silverado.
