Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I had a sprayer with wings that folded hydraulically. I often had unfolding problems the first time out for a new season. I believe air had entered into the cylinders during the off season. Since orifices were involved and air doesn't go through orifices very well, I believe the air was locking things up.
I would carefully crack the hoses slightly and attempt to cycle the cylinders again. This was usually successful after a few trials. Once I got the air worked out, I retightened the hoses and the fold worked fine for that season. Next year, same thing again. |
