Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Yes, at times they can really "lock on". I've had to use the vise grips a time or two myself. With a fitting that won't take grease the internal pressure on the coupler is very high since you have really been pushing on the grease gun lever. I agree with an earlier reply about "not using a hammer".
