| There is a more complex issue to test modern vehicles than a test light and pulling fuses. You have to allow time for electronic modules to power down and also have to maintain uninterrupted current flow while testing. A digital DVOM is essential for testing on the amp and milliamp scale.
If you don't and pull a fuse to an electronic module then reinstall it, the module will wake up again and draw power giving a false reading.
