I am in SE Illinois SW Indiana. My weather is almost always exactly opposite of the NW corn belt, IE. NW Iowa, SW Minn, East SD ect. We had dry March into the first week of April. But now back to normal spring of copious amounts of spring rain. I can pretty much tell you right now there will be no planting till sometime in May.
