Looks like a low volume tube in the picture that will have trouble flowing cold 10-34-0. But cutting your rate in half seems extreme.
Orifices dont determine the volume, but create equal distribution across the planter, because of back pressure. Usually you can use a larger size than absolute rate, and still get even application.
Sounds like you have other issues than the orifices.
Again it looks like very small plumbing in that picture.
Wat style of PUMP are you using?
