There is a swing brake, on the swing gear motor. May not getting the signal that it needs to apply. Would start looking there.
I must have used the wrong terminology. I am talking about the hydraulic cylinder that pivots the boom so that you can dig next to a building. Not the swing motor that rotates the entire platform. Sorry for the confusion.
