Subject: Brother printer trouble?



Lenawee Co Michigan		The toner cartridges won't slide in place, because the drives aren't retracted.

If pushed in hard, the drives make a ratchet sound when turned on.

I haven't used up the starter toner yet, and Staples tells me to throw away the $300 unit and buy another. Big help.

Anyone know the trouble?
