Nw Iowa | I think there will be weather scares ( not that I know anything, just history would tell normally is) but I don’t expect any big moves, maybe 30-40 cents, especially over next 60 days unless something big happens? The concern on old crop would be basis as farmers are holding record old crop bushels. Most crop consultants are very negative, some even think mid $3’s by Aug which is interesting when everybody is on same side of boat. Doesn’t mean they are wrong, just interesting. A lot of weather people say a later season drought is more possible than dry spring so who knows? I do think we are in for a period of years where we are thinking singles, not home runs. | |
