indiana | Yes , several scenarios. Anderson’s has a min/max program that prices so much per day. We tried it a couple times, don’t use it anymore. What cured us was once early in the pricing period the price maxed out. I called and ask to price remaining bushels. The answer was no , it prices everyday till completion of time period. It dropped fairly quick and priced out at a far lesser price. I complained and was told by the buyer that when it maxed out if I liked that price I should’ve sold more. So in the end every buyer is programmed to secure bushels as cheap as possible.It is good to build a relationship with a buyer but at the end of the day it’s every man for himself! | |
