| For the past 16 years in a row, the funds have never not once been long corn at some point in the year.
The average max net long position they hold for each year is roughly +275k contracts.
The smallest max net long they had was in 2017 of just +115k contracts.
The largest net long position of all time is in 2011 of +409k contracts.
Currently the funds are short around -250k contracts of corn, amidst the shortest on record.
Will 2024 follow in the steps of past history or break the trend?
