Gold is strong for the same reason bitcoin is. The darkside of money printing and deficit spending is apparent. A rundown house in the country is $200K, farm ground is $15K an acre. It costs $500 to fuel a semi. “Core” inflation doesn’t include food and energy, hmmm.
People are seeking an alternative to the dollar.
