Finally got a reply! Thanks! Yeah, most think that is the way to go, just not for us. Long term notill, generally less than 22-24” yearly moisture and less than ~160 ave yield environment. Far enough north that corn confetti doesn’t break down that well. It keeps the soil too wet and cool so we like our soil armor upright and intact for ease of planting.
