I've been watching people try this for over 40 years. It intrigued me 35 years ago when I started farming. It is much easier to accomplish now since the advent of RR technology, which obviously has been around long enough now to be on the road to being ineffective. At any rate you aren't going to do anything new and beyond that ask yourself why this hasn't been adopted anywhere at any scale. Just being factual here.

No different than any generation trying to put their mark "on something". We need this type of activity to push the progress needle but don't kid yourself that you're a pioneer of progress by say planting soybeans in late Feb or March in the upper Midwest. It's becoming more main stream to plant beans earlier well into April, however look at last frost/freeze dates for your area. That really hasn't changed.



I know of several big operations doing this at a large scale and are very successful at it.
