There are a crap ton of people with zero assets,there is no debtors prison but the IRS will jail you for tax evasion.So if you have zip,dont pay,cheated and then prison it costs the gov more than it gains.Offer in compromise kicks in,,,IRS-"lets see,,ok,,get a job,,we want 50 $ a month",,,tax avoider"ok,,better than jail and can I keep my toothbrush?" | |
