| I variable rate from 100-200k in the same field. Good ground highest yielding gets 100k, up to hills and worst yielding 180-200k. I'm going to try going lower than 100k this year on better, flatter dirt. Planting date plays a big role too. As it gets into late May and beyond I think populations should start creeping up.
Some of my best beans this past year were ones that I was on the fence about replanting. Stands were 70-90k. | |
