| If you can still boot up the receiver, your dealer can transfer the activations to the other receiver at no cost.
If it doesn't, they can send it to the reman facility and either fix it, or "pull off" the activations. What that really is, they just blacklist the receiver so you can't ever buy another activation for it again, and if you do somehow get it working, the serial number will not allow the dealer to do anything with it.
