The killer is that 95% of the items that help increase your soil health, fertility, and crop - also increase the environment for white mold.
Higher OM, earlier planting, utilize manure vs synthetic, (tillage seems to have little or no effect here one way or another/no-till)
Each one of those just makes the mushroom environment better and better...
