Sheridan Mi | I know people's systems are different. I can't drink that stuff. My wife and I took one of those winery tours in Branson where they let you taste it. After two sips, I felt like somebody was driving a spike right in the top of my head. It ruined the rest of the day. I just got curious enough to do a Google search of why it does that and came up with this:
"According to a new study, a compound in red wine affects how the body metabolizes alcohol, which can cause headaches. Red wine is more likely to cause headaches than white wine because of the higher amount of histamines, tannins, and quercetin."
