Bought a place with these tanks on it will they hold grain found roller mill and other grain equipment in a box trailer that I don’t know what they are ( stacked with other stuff)will have other questions later thanks
I love finding these kind of 'treasures'!
You might have better uses for steel tanks like this.
Check of manholes on the tanks.
As part of that measure the wall thickness (likely be some rust but empty tanks don't rust unless they had stuff like liquid fertilizer inside).
Might be worth sandblasting (and painting) the ID on the bigger tank and using for hot liquid distillate.
Might also make a great fuel tank if you can clean up the interior.
(They will tell you that you need to have a double walled tank - - - just weld up another wall - - - - this isn't rocket surgery!!!)
I'd be curious as to your other grain equipment.
(Lots of options for the tanks - - - all depends upon what you can use and what you want to spend!!!) |
