Meanwhile bred hfrs 2700-3000, demand for bred stock is not there, it’s easier to cash in on the hfr calf and kill her.
Edit to add;
Would you buy bulls and go through the time and expense of a heifer project or just sell the calf and hit a home run?
All the ranchers are old, and remember 14-15.
