Ne Nebraska | $0.50 would get a lot of ppls attention to at least consider it, but at what cost would it come to benefit that much? Some things would be easy to change to improve your score while other things may not. May push more bean acres in comes to fruition. 50/50 rotations may become more common. Easy to continually no-till in 50/50 rotation and reduced N needs bs corn on corn. Lots of bonus points just for that simple change, and many are doing this already. Farmer feeders may really like this as manure helps score i hear, add in some cover crops as an additional feed source. Cover crops, manure, no till, cheap cover crop feed. Do all that and sell your corn for even more premium and bring in the neighbors high carbon corn at a discount. Win win win!!!
Edit to add: in no way am I a proponent for this, but sometimes you have to make the best of the cards that are given and available at the time.
