About 15 years ago I was on a trip and stopped at a stockyards somewhere in southern Indiana(probably 8 hours from home). I struck up a conversation with the guy next to me and he asked where I was from. When I told him where I lived the guy says oh, the transmission from my Deutz is at Kramer’s.
I think he was known all over the country as the go to guy for Deutz tractor repair.
