Subject: Fertilizer prices falling in Argentina, is it the same in the USA?

This was the summary Easy Newz Mobile App published by Czapp. From what we can see, prices in South America have been falling for over a month. Is it the same in the USA now?

The Global Fertilizer Situation is Improving for Farmers.

The situation for urea, phosphate, and potash is improving globally, with a few specific destinations set to remain tight. Here is a quick overview of the latest globally.

Urea prices are under pressure as the Middle East struggles to maintain current prices. India’s RCL plans a shipping tender but has not decided on the shipment period yet. It means urea prices could still keep declining. There will also likely be no Chinese urea in the market until June, so the outlook is bearish.

China and Thailand exported processed phosphate at a considerably lower price than previous deals. The prices of mono ammonium phosphate in Brazil are the same as last week. Indian buyers imported products from Russia and Indonesia because of lower prices. In light of the expected resumption of Chinese exports in May or June, the outlook for processed phosphate is bearish.

In the potash market, the prices of Chinese products are declining due to a lack of demand from NPK producers. On the other hand, prices in Brazil are expected to increase ahead of the anticipated increase in demand. Except for the Brazilian market, the outlook for potash prices remains bearish.
