I always thought she had a great voice. Outbound Plane video & song was recorded without all the computer doodads to manipulate voices that are common now.
If you watch n listen you might like her singing voice.
I could not have told you her name off the top of my head, but I remember and liked that song when it played on the radio all the time
If you want to look into making records without all the "computer doodads" you need to read about the making of the Beatles "Sgt. Pepper's" album back in the 60s.
Lennon and McCartney laid track on top of track to achieve the sound they were seeking.
