On those charts that Delta posted- My go to "Elliot Wave theory. My personal nomenclature for those type of formation is a "Running wave 4". In the EW sequence, Wave 4 is normally sideways and choppy. If a market is too strong, it won't even set back but just keeps making (in this case) higher highs with fairly deep corrections.
