E.Central MN | When I was young I stopped at a convenience store and when I came out some guy had parked so close I could barely get in my car (I was pretty skinny at the time, too). I let my ego get the best of me and backed out of the spot mad as heck. I started backing and saw a blur in the mirror, hit the brakes and just dented the passenger door of a clean 56 chev 2 door sedan. I got out and started apologizing to the young guy, thinking it's going to cost a fortune to find a door for that car. He was nice about it and said he'd probably just have a buddy of his pound the dent out. I asked what he thought it would cost and gave him a little more than that, he said he wasn't going to turn in a claim on it. It taught me to not allow somebody else's actions make me lose my temper when I'm behind the wheel of a car. | |
