Last year my oldest compared field compaction of 1000 bu grain carts. He compared floaters, walking duals, tandem axle carts, and tracks. He tested water infiltration in and out of the track for each, as well as a penetrometer.
Other impressive ones were lubrication properties of different oils, and lactose levels of different types of milk.
