East Central SD | It's coming up on 40 years ago when a local farmboy was navigating a "training mission" in a A6-E Intruder. The pilot was flying an inverted low pass in front of the navigator's family farm when he mistakenly pulled back on the stick instead of pushing forward (according to the official report). It did not end well. I was told there was a farmer working in the field but obviously there was nothing he could do for them.
