They won't know how bad the frost hurts the fast growing wheat till the combines roll and very little wheat comes in the hopper. Ive seen the best looking wheat yield terrible and the the worst looking wheat yield great. With the warm winter I would think alot of wheat is far enough along to get damaged by well below freezing temperatures
