ec. nebr. | This is only 2 examples of what is going on nationwide in farm country! The loss of crop ground to housing, city development, solar farms, and highway expansion is huge! The numbers USDA uses the last five yrs. are suspect? How can this not be proven? Land for farming is becoming a bygone enterprise. Crops/food will have to be imported more and more eventually. Agriculture is on the chopping block.
