Iowa's Half Breed Tract | I am finally almost done with my carport barn and have fenced off close to an acre, I am now ready for livestock, or so I think. I have been doing lots of reading on different meat goat breeds and it seems like many say to stay away from Boers. I can't seem to find anything on the internet but I was wondering if anyone had any connections that we're looking to sell around 10 or so doe goats to get me started. Bred would be preferred but not a deal breaker if they aren't. Seeing as many say to stay away from the Boers I was looking for anything Savanna, Kiko, or even Nubian cross. I'm sure other know more than I and will listen to suggestions from those that know better. I am located in Southeast Iowa and willing to travel a little ways for something that could be promising.
